Overview:

An article addressing the contextualization of the gospel in majority Muslim contexts.

Content:

The purpose of my current research is to examine Muslim Background Congregations (MBC’s), meaning congregations consisting primarily of Muslim Background Believers (MBB’s). A good deal of work has been done on individual Muslims who have either converted to Christianity
or, claiming to stay within Islâm, have made a commitment to follow Jesus Christ as he is known not only in the Qur’ân, but in the Gospels as well. This article will examine how some of these MBC’s interpret the Qur’ân and reconcile it to the Bible.
