Overview:

This is a very insightful article about the liminality of BMBs'  identity with implications for discipleship and community formation.

Content:

The question of identity is complex and patterns of faith expression not simple to describe. While identity is multi-dimensional and not adequately captured on single-dimensional scales or simple grids, it can be helpfully viewed in terms of core, social, and collective layers. Approaching identity in terms of dialogue or multiple narratives helps us see its personal and changing nature. Greenlee in this article attempts to answer the question “What does it mean to be “in Christ?” in the context of BMBs.
