A series of 6 Inductive Bible studies leading to group discussion that examines what it means to be a servant of Christ and discovers some ways we can serve him and build his kingdom as we reach out to others.
Most of us naturally prefer being served rather than serving others. Very often those who serve in this world do so because they are poorer or inferior in power or status to those being served.
But God’s chosen Son came to earth as a humble servant. He redeemed us at great sacrifice to himself, washes us clean from our sin, and restores us to fellowship with our Father as “fellow heirs of his Kingdom”. Then, he equips and sends us out as his servants to love others and reconcile them to the Father, until every people and tribe is represented in his Kingdom.
Lessons:
- The Right Motivation for Service Saved by grace to do good works
- Our High Calling to Humble Service Following Christ’s example
